Tristyn: Scheduling Coordinator
Tristyn has been with Carvalho & Roth Orthodontics since 2020. As the scheduling coordinator for the Newton Centre office, her main focus is making sure our patients have the best experience and results possible! Prior to working with our team, Tristyn worked as a personal trainer for eight years. She has a passion for theater and has her MFA from The Boston Conservatory. In her spare time, she enjoys rock tumbling, trivia, and experimenting with new recipes.
Emily: Scheduling Coordinator
I’m Emily and I’ve been the scheduling coordinator at Carvalho & Roth in Northborough since January of 2022. I love working here because the doctors and the staff are so friendly and have made me feel comfortable and confident while learning/doing my job! Prior to working here, I graduated from FAU with a BA in sociology and interned with a non-profit organization. When I’m not at work, I love to spend time with my family and my dog, Shiloh, watch Netflix and take walks at the park.
Christina: Orthodontic Assistant
Hi! My name is Christina and I’ve been an ortho assistant since 2016. I chose this photo because I’m actually wearing my Invisalign aligners in it and you can see how great they look! I love my job and I find joy in giving my patients the smile they’ve always wanted and deserved. During my free time, I like to work out, spend time with my boyfriend & family and I love to travel whenever I get the opportunity.
Kristy: Financial Coordinator
Kristy has been a part of the Carvalho & Roth Orthodontics staff since 2009 as our financial coordinator. Within that time, she and her husband have welcomed two wonderful sons into their family. Born and raised in Spencer, MA, Kristy graduated from Westfield State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management. Her primary focus on the team is making sure all of your insurance benefits are processed correctly, which takes one less thing off of your plate! In addition to being a dedicated mother and employee, Kristy is also a health nut. Out of the office you can often find her cooking up a healthy meal and staying active with her family.
Patrice: Scheduling Coordinator
Having been with our team since 1999, Patrice is our longest-tenured employee. Within that time with us, she has experienced almost every position at the office. However, she is now our scheduling coordinator working out of the Marlborough office. She lives in Hudson with her husband and three sons. Prior to her career in orthodontics, Patrice taught third grade and pre-school.
Karen: Treatment Coordinator
Karen has been with Carvalho & Roth Orthodontics since 2007, and she is currently the treatment coordinator for our Newton Centre office. As treatment coordinator, Karen has the honor of being the first staff member to meet and welcome patients and their families to our office, which she absolutely loves! Originally from Walpole, Karen graduated from Westfield State College with a BA in English. After working in publishing and radio for 10 years, she joined her family business managing one of the largest independent pharmacies in the area. In her spare time, Karen loves spending time with her wonderful son (who recently got his braces off), cooking, gardening and reading.
Ashley: Certified Orthodontic Assistant
Having started at Carvalho & Roth at the tender age of 20, I had no idea I would embark on such a rewarding career path. The last 18 years here have taught me so much. I can be found bopping around the office or bossing the doctor around. I love learning new techniques, socializing with patients, and using advanced orthodontics. The most fulfilling facets include helping patients navigate their dental journey and building their confidence while making them smile. Meeting new families and watching them grow over the last two decades is very rewarding.
Kimi: Certified Orthodontic Assistant
I have been a clinical assistant with C&R Orthodontics since 2005. I became a COA in 2011 after completing the Dental Assisting National Boards. I grew up in Marlboro and love coming to work to see many familiar faces. I love my job because the doctors have made this like a second home for the entire team. I enjoy live music, the beach, gardening, and hanging out with family and friends.
Jessica: Certified Orthodontic Assistant
Jessica started her career as an orthodontic assistant in 2001 and then joined our staff in 2009. She says the most rewarding part of her job is seeing the life-changing results that come out of our work. Since Jessica has a passion for making others happy, she’s a fantastic fit as one of our COAs. She thrives in our office not just because of her skill set, but because she cares so much about every one of our patients. She currently resides in Grafton with her husband and three children, where she’s heavily involved in her kids’ schools and programs. Outside of the office she enjoys going to the beach, spending time with her children, and making memories with friends and family.
Kayla: Orthodontic Assistants
Hi! I’m Kayla! I’ve been working in Orthodontics since 2015. My favorite part of the job is the day braces come off! The reaction from both kids and adults when they see their new smiles makes every minute of my job worthwhile. In my free time, I love the beach, reading, working on my Jeep and finding new places for yummy desserts!!
Frances: Dental Assistant
Hi, I’m Frances! I’ve been a Dental Assistant since 2002 and specifically in Orthodontics since 2015… so I bring a lot of experience to your experience! Dr’s Roth & Carvalho are so welcoming and create a caring environment so that we can work hard, but happy, all at the same time. The addition of Invisalign to our offerings has been amazing because our patients love the convenience and the outcome of their treatment. It is my passion to assure that our patients are happy during and at the end of treatment – leaving here with the smile they always wanted! In my off-time, I’m a loving mother of three wonderful children and I enjoy fishing, swimming, dancing, cooking, traveling, reading, music & going to church.
Bethany: Treatment Coordinator
Bethany has been working in Orthodontics since 2015. Since her start at C&R, she has transitioned from Assistant to her current role as Treatment Coordinator. Her favorite part of her new role is meeting new patients and helping them explore their goals as they pursue their new smiles! Bethany’s outgoing and friendly personality along with her innate desire to help others makes her perfect in her role! In her free time, Bethany loves traveling the world, working with children and spending time with friends and family. Bethany truly believes that a smile is a universal language.
