Our staff is a team of professionally trained, highly skilled individuals who are committed to providing you or your child with professional, yet personal orthodontic care.
Dr. Carvalho, Dr. Roth and each of our staff members are dedicated to our patient’s successful treatment. To maintain certification, and to stay current with advances in orthodontic treatment, we attend frequent continuing education lectures and seminars given by the American Association of Orthodontists and the Yankee Dental Congress. We have proficiencies in English, Italian, French and Portuguese so that we can keep you updated and informed throughout the treatment process and answer any questions you may have, regardless of language.

Kelly
Practice Manager
Kelly is a multitasker if ever there was one! Born and raised in Spencer, Kelly trained as a chef at Le Cordon Bleu. During her tenure with the practice she has spent time as a Clinical Assistant, Treatment Coordinator, and Financial Coordinator. She now serves as the Practice Manager responsible for anything and everything that comes up. Her primary goal is to always make sure everyone has a positive experience with the team at Carvalho and Roth. When not working, Kelly loves spending time with her husband, Jeff and beautiful daughter, Sophie.

Patrice
Insurance Coordinator
Patrice has been with our practice for over 11 years, and has served in almost every position during that time. Born and raised in Hudson, she now lives in Grafton with her husband and 3 beautiful sons. Prior to her career in Orthodontics, Patrice taught third grade and kindergarten. When she is not caring for her boys, she enjoys shopping, a nice walk and a good book. Patrice is currently one of our Insurance Coordinators working out of the Marlborough office.

Kristy
Financial Coordinator
Kristy is the Financial Coordinator for the practice, here to help you with everything from complex insurance matters to flex receipts! Born and raised in Spencer, MA Kristy graduated from Westfield State College with a degree in business. Kristy and her husband Scott currently live in Clinton and welcomed son Jameson in July 2010. They are very excited to be starting a family and we cannot wait to see the new addition hanging around the office! In her spare time Kristy loves spending time with family and enjoys all types of outdoor activities, including hiking and camping.

Herica
Treatment Coordinator
Herica began her relationship with Carvalho and Roth Orthodontics as a patient. She loved her time with us so much that she left her former employment to join us as a Treatment Coordinator! She has been with the practice since February 2005. Originally from Brazil, Herica has been in the US for 23 years and currently lives in Marlborough with her husband Val, her 2 beautiful children, Kezia and Lucas, and Buddy, the most handsome apricot mini-poodle. Herica enjoys being with her family whenever possible and all summer activities, especially going to the beach and pool!

Karen
Treatment Coordinator
Karen is the Treatment Coordinator for our Newton Centre office. She has been with the practice for two and a half years and loves meeting and welcoming our families, new and old! Originally from Walpole, Karen graduated from Westfield State College with a BA in English. After working in publishing and radio for 10 years, she joined her family business managing one of the largest independent pharmacies in the area. Karen has a wonderful ten year old son whom she completely adores and loves spending time with; you may have seen him playing catch with one of the doctors outside the office at lunch when he occasionally visits!! Karen also enjoys cooking, gardening and reading.

Marianna
Treatment Coordinator
Marianna is one of the most recent additions to our team, and we have loved getting to know her. She joined our practice in February 2010 as a Treatment Coordinator where her compassion and interpersonal skills have allowed her to create an immediate bond with our patients. She graduated from Marlborough High where she met her husband, Luis, (Go Panthers!!) and has been living locally for 11 years. Marianna also has two beautiful children, Luis Enrique and Cayo . She loves to travel and meet new people.

Sharon
Scheduling Coordinator
Sharon is one of the newest members of our team, but is certainly not new to the wonderful world of orthodontics! She comes to us with over 30 years of dental experience having graduated from Middlesex Community College’s Dental Assisting Program with an Associates Degree in 1976 before completing her BA at Salem State College. She has spent the last 20 years in orthodontics, working in all facets of patient and practice management in various orthodontic practices. A life-long resident of Somerville, Sharon and her husband Bruce were married in 1981. She enjoys traveling, preferably cruising and is an avid photographer.

Ashley
Orthodontic Assistant/Invisalign Coordinator
Ashley has worked in the practice since 2004 as a Clinical Assistant. In 2010 she completed her certification to become a COA, a certified orthodontic assistant. Originally from the Worcester area, she currently resides in Clinton with her husband “Jigger” and their two Boston Terriers, Bosco Marley and Ruby Tuesday. Prior to joining our team Ashley studied law at Suffolk University. In addition to her clinical responsibilities in the practice Ashley is also responsible for all Invisalign coordination and inventory. We keep her very very busy!! Ashley is a true artist at heart, enjoying drawing, painting and she is also certified as a professional body art practitioner.

Kimi
Orthodontic Assistant
Kimi is a highly skilled clinical assistant with 6 years of experience in our practice. Having grown up in Marlboro, just down the street from the office, she is happy to see many familiar smiles at the office. Kimi currently lives in Worcester with her fiancée and two cats. She loves hanging out with friends and family and snowmobiling is one of her favorite hobbies in the winter. In the summer you will find her at the beach and the campground.

Orthodontic Assistant
Erica moved to Framingham in 2005 and began working with Carvalho and Roth in 2007 as an Orthodontic Assistant. She describes the one-on-one interaction with the patients as her favorite part of her job. Erica’s free time is spent with her wonderful husband, friends and family. She also enjoys working out, going to the movies, shopping and traveling.

Neide
Orthodontic Assistant
Neide brings a wealth of dental knowledge and experience to our team, having spent time as a dental assistant in a general practice prior to finding her niche in orthodontics. Neide joined us about 5 years ago and never looked back! She and her husband live in the Metro west area with their two beautiful daughters. When not busy at the office or with her family Neide doubles as a professional floral designer. She is also very active with her local church.

Orthodontic Assistant
Hailey graduated from the New England Denial Assisting program in 2009. Before that, she spent 3great years as a kindergarten teacher. Originally from Fitchburg and still living there, Hailey has 3 cats and a dog to keep her busy!! Hailey describes seeing people smile after they get their braces removed as the best part of the work day. In her spare time she enjoys the gym, shopping and spending time with friends and family.

Orthodontic Assistant
Tharsis is originally from Brazil and currently lives in Leominster. He has been completing college courses while working with us in preparation for a career as a Dentist. He is an avid soccer player and enjoys all kinds of sports and outdoor activities, including sitting out at the beach!

Jessica
Orthodontic Assistant
Jessica started her career as an orthodontic assistant in 2001. She joined us in 2009 after returning from a number of years in Connecticut. Currently residing in Grafton with her husband and three children, Jessica is heavily involved in her children’s schools and programs. Outside of the practice she enjoys going to the beach, spending time with her children and making memories with friends and family. Jessica describes the most gratifying part of her job as seeing the life changing results that come out of our work.

Orthodontic Assistant
Alexsandra has been a part-time of our team for over a year and discovering how much she enjoyed orthodontic assisting, we are delighted that she has decided to work with us full-time. Born and raised in Milford, MA Alexsandra spent her formative years with her family in Brazil. Returning to Milford she graduated high school before graduating from Dental Assisting School in 2010. She enjoys her one on one time with patients and staying healthy with walks and exercise. But mostly she enjoys spending time with her family, friends and especially her husband.
