Your initial exam visit will include digital photos and x-rays that will allow us to diagnose your orthodontic problem. The doctors will make a recommendation based on these exams and explain in detail the length and modality of treatment, costs and payment options. Achieving a well balanced face means critical decisions on extraction vs. non- extraction of permanent teeth therapy, influencing growth of the jaws in a positive manner, in addition to achieving a healthy and aesthetic result.
Together, with the American Association of Orthodontists, we recommend that children are screened in their active growth years by age 7 before any skeletal problems are firmly set.
